Word from the Pastor
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
“If you do not speak out to dissuade the wicked from his way, I will hold you responsible.” — Ezekiel 33:8We are called to be watchmen and watchwomen. What is a watchman? A watchman is someone entrusted with watching, guarding, and protecting others. In Sacred Scripture, the watchman has an even deeper responsibility: to observe, recognize danger, warn others, and help guide them toward what is right.

Memorial Mass
Join us for a memorial mass in loving memory of Monsignor John Glorie, on Saturday, September 19th at 8:00 am, as we gather in prayer and thanksgiving for his life, priestly ministry, and faithful service to our parish community.
We entrust his soul to the loving mercy of God and pray that he may rejoice forever in the presence of our Lord.

Remembering 9/11
On Friday, September 11th, we remember with prayer and reverence all those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, as well as their families, first responders, and all who continue to carry the wounds of that day. The 8:00 am Mass will be offered for the repose of the souls of the deceased, for the consolation and healing of their loved ones, and for peace in our world.

Patriot Day
Here, in this place of remembrance, I would ask everyone together, each in his or her own way, to spend a moment in silence and prayer. Let us implore from on high the gift of commitment to the cause of peace. Peace in our homes, our families, our schools and our communities. Peace in all those places where war never seems to end. Peace for those faces which have known nothing but pain. Peace throughout this world which God has given us as the home of all and a home for all.
Simply PEACE.Exerpt from prayer by Pope Francis, at an interreligious prayer service at Ground Zero.
We will never forget

June 1st - November 30th
Almighty God Creator of the universe, we humbly seek Your protection from all approaching storms. Calm our hearts, cast away our fear, and keep our families and homes safe. You command the elements and bring us peace.
We thank You in advance for Your protection and ask this in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen. Matthew 8:26: "Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.
