Altar Server

Must be in 3rd grade or older. Altar servers are needed at all Weekend Masses, as well as special Masses. Our altar servers help serve in the sanctuary and assist the priest and deacons in the Mass.

Bible Study

Bible study ministries in the Catholic Church focus on deepening understanding of Scripture. Offered in English and Spanish. Call for times and days.

Charismatic Group

The Charismatic group emphasizes a personal experience of the Holy Spirit. This movement began is characterized by a focus on spiritual gifts, such as speaking in tongues, prophecy, and healing. Members meet various times a week for prayer and worship.

  • Spanish Group meets on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm
  • Creole group meets on Saturday evenings at 8:00 pm

Catechists/Religious Education

Adults who are interested in sharing their faith with our students and volunteering at least 2 hours a week.

Requirements: You must attend Virtus training from the Archdiocese of Miami and you must be background screened.

Emmaus

The Men and Women’s Emmaus Ministry focus on supporting individuals in their spiritual journey. They offer retreats and provide resources for personal growth, community building, and faith development.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

(Please speak to our Parish Priests)

A mandate would need to be completed and signed along with a diocesan training session, and parish training session. Our EMHC's assist the priest and deacons in distributing the most precious body and blood of our Lord.

Lectors

Lectors help to proclaim the word of God to all who are present. Lectors are needed at all week day and weekend masses, as well as special masses, such as Holy Week, and Holy Days of Obligation.

Legion of Mary

Legion of Mary is a Marian movement. The main purpose of the Legion of Mary is to give glory to God through the sanctification of its members. Members meet once a week to pray, plan and minister to those who are sick or homebound.

Liturgical Dance

Catholic liturgical dancing is a form of worship that incorporates movement into the liturgy. It is often used to express joy, reverence, and the communal aspect of worship. We have three groups to choose from:

  • Ambitious Souls of Faith
  • Carpe Spiritus

Music Ministry

Cantors, musicians and choir members help the congregation live the liturgy within them through praise and worship.

Ushers help with mass count, collection, communion, and distribution of bulletins. Ushers make sure everything runs smoothly!
